DOT Brass Fittings
Brass fittings are corrosion and rust resistant and allow for easy and leak-free assembly. Our deeper tube insertion length and floating tube support allow you to achieve leak free first-pass yield, cutting down on assembly costs. We have almost any combination of tube size and configuration on the shelf.
DOT Extreme Fittings
These fittings are the ideal solution for high performance in extreme temperatures, from -40° F up to 400° F. We’ve added higher grade thread sealant to resist chemical attacks, corrosion, vibration and thermal shock to ensure longer leak-free operation.
DOT Composite Fittings
Composite fittings weigh about half that of brass fittings. When using a large number of fittings on a truck or trailer, there can be a noticeable weight savings when utilizing composite fittings. Alkon’s composite fittings combine the best of both worlds; our brass nose, gripper and tube support give the performance needed to pass DOT testing while the composite body reduces the weight.
